Welcome to the IANUS project on later learning

IANUS will try to give answers to the following crucial questions by focusing on the target group of learners aged 50+ and still employed or seeking employment:

  • What are the key factors determining later learning ?

  • Are these key factors differently developed or accepted ?

  • What steps have to be taken on European and national educational policy level to foster later learning?

The partnership’s answers will be published in generally agreed IANUS Guidelines and Quality standards for learners, training institutions and trainers dealing with later learning.The guidelines and quality standards will be tested in several pilots within the partnership.
